A website for a healthcare provider, and behind it the system that runs the day: staff, rotas, appointments, home visits and outpatient care, all in one place.
All work
Swiss Spitex delivers hospital care that does not stay inside one building. Clinic appointments, home visits and outpatient rounds are all planned against the same people, and each of the three was being tracked somewhere of its own. Nobody could see a whole day at once, so one change had to be entered in several places and the phone ended up carrying what the records could not.
We treated the public site and the internal system as one piece of work rather than two projects that happen to share a client. Before anything was designed we followed a single booking from the moment a patient asks for it to the moment a nurse is at the door, and wrote down every point where it changes hands. That list is what decided the rest: what the site has to collect, what the staff need to see, and what has to be true before an appointment can be confirmed.
A website that presents the service and takes enquiries, with a management platform behind it. The platform holds the staff and their rotas, and books clinic appointments, home visits and outpatient care against them. Each patient contact keeps one record. The day is planned in a single view, and a change made once shows up everywhere it matters.
